Well, my previous employer purchased Fox-Pro which had a nice
puzzle in it, and me bored as ever started playing it... It
was the ordinary Shuffle puzzle, but was still fun to play. So
after thinking a while for an idea for a simple doorgame, I
decided to make a 'door' version of the Shuffle puzzle.
It was made using the Borland Pascal with Objects v7.0 packa-
ge, in cooperation with RADU v3.00Γ.
A little warning is in order, the game is extreeemely simple,
but the looks of the door make up a great deal for that ;-)
because especially when using AVATAR, you get to see some nice
AVATAR-Possibilities.

There is not much to guarantee around here, as always. I can
not be hold responsible for any damage caused by Shuffle. You
are on your own.

Does it need any introduction? I guess not... Just point the
arrow to the empty square from the direction you want a number
moved. And move and move and move. As soon as the numbers are
in order you're a winner. Shuffle counts the number of moves
needed by the player, and bases its hi-score list on it. The
less moves the better.

Shouldn't be to difficult. Just unpack the whole thing in a
subdirectory, and optionally place the ans/avt files in your
textfiles-subdirecty (Or in the different textfile language
subdirectory if you want ans/avt files for each language).
Use a type 7 menu with optional data:
<Path>Shuffle.exe <Registration key>
One little note about the userend. Shuffle uses some ansi-
codes not supported by every terminal program (The D'Bridge
terminal for instance). So the looks of the intro screen is
not always the same! Attempt was made to screw up the screen
as little as possible on non-compatible terminals. However,
users with a terminal program that does support it are in for
a suprise... I'll bet you they think they have a 14k4 modem!

Since nobody accepts flames anymore, I guess you've got loads
of frustrations kept up inside of you... Here is your chance
to flame, because this is flame-ware, just flame me with
whatever you dislike/hate about shuffle and/or me (if you want
to insult me, go ahead) and you're a registered user ;-) Note:
Do not flame in echomail!, only private netmail, a postcard or
on my bbs.
But what if there is nothing to flame? Well, in that case you
are free to register the way you want. A postcard, money...
Feel free to pay whatever you think it's worth. When registe-
ring don't forget to mention your nodenumber, as the key will
be put on hold for you for two weeks after receiving your
registration. The key will be crashed to you if you are in
Fidonet, SIGnet or Parabelnet and if you pay 5 dutch guilders
or more.
Send postcards to:
Hans Siemons,
Crogtdijk 1,
4815 AD, Breda.
The Netherlands.
Any deposits can be made on on bank 222140607 or giro-account
5145504 to J.A.J. Siemons.

Is there a place you can report the 1000 bugs in Shuffle? Of
course there is. You can netmail me at 2:512/149 or call my
bbs (+31-76-715391) at HST/V32bis speeds (and lower).
